Whether Obamacare ultimately succeeds or fails is obviously an unknown. I understand that there are people who love it and people who hate it - most of whom really do not actually understand it either way, but just follow what they hear on the news shows they watch. People are entitled to their opinions. The real problem is that the national Republican party WANTS it to fail. Millions of dollars are being spent to convince people it will fail. Why would anyone actually WANT it to fail? On the other hand, the divisiveness in this Country has resulted in the national Democratic party wanting it to succeed so badly that they are willing to turn a blind eye to the weaknesses of the law (after all, it was truly written by lobbyists) and therefore, refuse to consider fixing it. I thought we hire our Congressmen/women to do what is best for the Country, not what is best for themselves and their political parties. How do we convince countries in the Middle East that they should embrace Democracy and stop their ethnic and religious infighting while our politicians engage in the same behavior (albeit, without the murder and bombings)?
was constituted by "real" leaders not by "small minded" people. Who do we have in the party that can rise to the level of the Bush family and Regan? ...Actually we do but we don't support them....we support the extremist.....Yeah!

I have been a RN for over 30yrs and the last 11yrs spent all my waking hours as a Case Manager FIGHTING Health Care Plans for patients to get treatment! the bureaucracy is unbelievable and when ppl say that they do not want the federal government regulation health care they are not informed because they already do and line their own pockets!
@singlefeldspar I have exactly the same thought! I think the the fix is in the Congressional Oath of Office. It needs changing so that members have to swear to work for the benefit of the majority, not just constituencies.

My girl @stabenow is killing it on CNN's Crossfire right now.
Lots of people accessing the exchange system. How many are just playing around with it to check it out versus signing up for insurance?

We ought to vote the all out. S.E. Cupp ought to do some research before she makes statement about people remembering the time they couldn't go to a museum or park when they vote in 2014. Some of us actually don't get paid during the shutdown and will remember it. I'm talking about active and retired military personnel. What the members of Congress forgot was the meaning of the word compromise.
